Not really true they are inflating numbers. They get 100% of ancillary charges like FSC. tarping, detention, unloading charges etc. They get 67% of linehaul. So their gross is going to be more than 67%

The bco I talked with claimed 175k gross on 120k miles for the year... But he won't haul anything for less than 2.20 a mile... You do the math. And I hate to be the one to break this to you but .44 cents is not the real FSC. Some of them know their numbers... Some make it sound good by giving out the numbers before the cut.

No kidding. You catch people in a lie when they post figures. The math just doesn't add up as we've seen many times on here!

I agree some prob do fudge the numbers. Numbers i posted were true. I was trying to help the OP. I answer to a higher power so I have nothing to gain by not telling the truth. Some people don't even get the concept of gross vs net…..lose any credibility when trying to pick any numbers apart…..

He may very well be getting his $2.20 a "loaded" mile ... about 80K miles a year. The other 40k miles are empty, chasing the hi value loaded miles

At the year I'm at $1.75 all miles loaded & empty. I've been dead heading alot more lately. I've posted statements on here before where I've gotten called out about my avgs. There's been weeks where I have averaged $2.20 a mile and there's been weeks where I've averaged $1.50. And this is all after Landstar Cut. And yes this is for Van.
