My buddy lives in Deerfield beach, FL. And I would live to go visit him, and maybe stay down there a lot of the time. I was just wondering how the landstar van freight is down there? Because I dont think all of the horror stories I have heard about FL freight are true.
How is Landstar freight in South Flordia?

Lol. Your going to deadhead out or barely cover your fuel hauling someone's freight for free.
-
Good luck finding anything coming out

I live in the Bradenton/Sarasota area, about 60 miles south of Tampa. Freight is hard to come by in S FL unless like was said before, you dont mind just getting fuel money. I think the lowest ive ever done is 1.85 and thats before LS takes their cut, so its cheap but i make a few dollars as i run a tight ship. I will deadhead to GA before i go lower.

they have some vanted van freight during produce season

Very true. Good ol squash runs. -
How does the freight GOING to FL pay? If it pays well enough, maybe a 300 mile deadhead is worth it. Like taking a load to NYC.

I think florida is not as bad as people think.

You'll find lots of great paying S FL outbound van freight right next to the truck dealership that sells new trucks for $70,000 from your other thread.
