I'M A CURRENT BCO WITH LANDSTAR:

FIRST OF ALL I WANT TO STATE THAT I HAVE BEEN WITH LANDSTAR FOR OVER 3 YEARS. IT IS A GREAT COMPANY TO WORK FOR HOWEVER, I FINALLY HAD ENOUGH OF SOME OF THE BROKERS THAT I HAVE CONDUCTED BUSINESS WITH AND HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY LOYAL TO. PLEASE LET ME EXPLAIN.

FIRST OF ALL CGI ALSO KNOWN AS the following codes:

The above broker whom relies on us to move their freight will without hesitation bar you from taking any more of their loads if your truck happens to break down during one of the trips. This is what happened to me. I thought I had a great repore with Jeannie, Ron, Tony. As soon as my truck broke down they repowered the load and cancelled all of my scheduled future dedicated loads. When I called Landstar to complain they basically backed the broker up and told me to find a different dedicated run. I want to propose to all Landstar and Landstar approved carriers to strike against the above broker and do not take any of their loads. All they care about is their bottom line. They can care less about yours. They are extremely rude. If you can stick together for 1 week and not take any of their loads, they will think twice about treating us like poop. God bless all of my brothers and sisters who drive a semi truck for a living.

    Mike

I would reconsider your post before Landstar cancels your lease. Unless you do not care. Give yourself a few days to cool off. Big company, lots of agents, go work for other agents.

It's business, not personal. The bottom line is what matters. Period. The bottom line is all I care about. Unless you are family, it's all business. I may like you, but if I need a job done and you fail at it, don't take it personally when I find someone else.

There's no guarantees that the new guy hauling for this agent wont breakdown,so no its not just business, its loyalty.if i've been doing a great work for an agent i excpect something in return not just a paycheck.just move on brother and rest assured what goes around comes around.

And when that guy breaks down, they will find ANOTHER driver to take their place. It's how some people do business. Loyalty is great, until it costs time and money. I do think that only one service failure and off the account is a bit harsh, especially if it was a breakdown, but if that's how they do business, it's just that, their business. After seeing how they treat a driver with one service failure, I don't know that I would want to work with them anymore anyway. I though about going to LandStar, but dealing with brokers for a few more percent on the load is a head ache I don't want. I get a little less, but still pick my loads off a loadboard and don't have to talk to brokers. Maybe I'll change in a few years, but for now, nope, no brokers for me.

I will absolutely not bow down to Landstar or any of their brokers sir. I only request if you have any self respect as a truck driver to stick together for one week and DO NOT TAKE ANY LOADS FOR CGI CHI CHX XHI.

IF WE STICK TOGETHER WE CAN GET A LOT DONE. OTHERWISE YOU WILL ALLOW CGI TO CONTINUE BENDING US OVER. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME SIR AND REPLY. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

i understand that the bottom line is all that matters. And i agree. Unfortunately, dishonest business practices will ultimately catch up to you. Strike againstcgi chi chx xhi.

Refuse their loads. Put these pricks out of business. Let them feel the pain.

If I pulled for LandStar I would stand with you on this, unfortunately there are plenty of douche drivers that will happily take the loads and nothing will change. Just the way it is.
