Why would you dig up a 6 year old thread ? 2007-2009 was the worst time EVER to be an o/o ANYWHERE! It didn't matter who you were leased to, had your own authority, etc. A lot of people lost everything. 0-5 year old trucks were lined up at the ports being exported because they could be bought for almost nothing. Of course if you've been trucking for. 8 years, you know this already.
Start a new thread with YOUR qualifications and needs, and others will chime in with the pros and cons of those three companies. I do very well at Landstar, but I'm certain my qualifications and skills are different than yours.

 

Sorry if I got on your bad side but I did and no one responded but I'm a business man I will figure it out because everyone situation is different. What might not worked for them might work for me. Thanks anyway

 

No bad side and I just looked up your post history. I don't see where you started a thread like I suggested with your qualifications and what you're looking for. most people can't tell you the current differences between the three companies you asked about because the guy that has worked at all three recently isn't worth chatting with. LS effort wise is 50% being a business owner/ 50% driving the truck. The guys here that are 100% only about driving the truck are the guys that don't do well and quit. IF you like freedom to do what you want (and deal with the consequences) you'll like LS. If you need a dispatcher to feed you loads, you won't like it.
