Guess not, but I would like to hear your experience through
recruitment, orientation and after a load or two. I am thinking
of them myself. Take care out there

I was with RWI for about 4 months last year. They never gave me any good Consist miles. My dispatcher even quit because of the load planers playing favourites. He flat out told me that the reason why I wasn't making it was because of them.I Never turned down a load and I Did stay out. Sometimes as long as 7 weeks. A Whole lot of dead head miles. I would strongly recommend staying away from them. No one that I ever spoke with (driver) was ever happy.if I was you I would try JCT or ACT TRUCKING. People actually complete the lease with them.
    Good luck

The company is going through an extensive transition period. They have cleaned house and hired dependable and knowledgable staff. They've been in business over 30 years and have the financial backing of Castellini. The time of your post indicates a "slower" period for produce. Depending on what fleet you were in your miles would suffer.

I personally have friends that work there through RWIs L/P plan and love it. They both got into new trucks and make a reasonable living. The trucks they acquire come from a third party and RWI NEVER buys the trucks, they make arrangements through that source so you can work directly with them and not RWI. If RWI doesn't fit for you after 6 months, you can leave and sign on with another carrier in the same truck you've been paying for. As long as you get approval from that carrier and they are on the lessors list of over 15 companies, you're in.

I am not a paid endorser of RWI, I have friends that I trust with my life work there. Planners, drivers, dispatchers, management etc. They have lived through this rough period and stick with the company because of the growth potential. Your situation may be different and not disputing what you posted, just giving you a different perspective.

The leasing company RWI Uses SUCKS! Their trucks are spec'd wrong for heavy loads, and you will get horrific fuel mileage. They are stripped down for $1000.00 a week...I had one leased to one of their "Approved" carriers, Also when you decide to leave RWI make sure you have $2000.00 to give Cure Leasing as a penalty for moving the truck.ANd they will fight tooth and nail to try to make you stay with the carrier you are with even if you are going broke I know when I looked at leasing a checked Cure's website and they had a ton of RWI repos on there. This post was more about the leasing company than RWI, but you should know who you are leasing from if you decide to go there

Looking for info on Castellini...know they pay $17.25 hr. All straight time. But wondering what kind of job it is as far as income, benefits and home time.
