I parked at a motel and checked in at 2am. I get a call from front desk that I can't park there , please pull around to the large dirt lot for large vehicles. Ok. I drive around and pulled into the "dirt lot " that was , unbeknownst to me, unplowed with 12" of soft snow my tires gladly got stuck in. I said eff it, hopefully it freezes hard tonight and I can get out. Now I'm starting to miss my sleeper.

It took me about 3 hours to dig my way out of that lot, and that is with the help of management with a plow. There was much rejoicing

Ran my Walmart water load down to Ohio . While sweeping out my van, I noticed a couple of serious drips leaking from the ceiling . Now I'm at TA with a 4 hour wait for a patch job.

The other day I talked to another lp. He ran on the warehouse logistics board. Says he never does steelCase, and averages 2400 mi/wk.

im im not one to think the grass is greener, but that does sound nice...no more blankets.

I wonder if I snuck Into Budweiser at night if it were freezing, that they wouldn't notice the leak, because it was frozen.
Hope I get in to get this patched soon. Turning into a bad week early

I called the beer load hotline to tell me if my load was ready or not, and it says I have an invalid load number. So I already have 11 off, I only get 42 minutes back tomorrow. (Don't ask) I called night dispatch to see if he can look into it. I'd hate to start my clock just to have my load be cancelled or something. I don't need a 34 but I'd rather not start my 14 tonight if there is no load. Beer plant is an hour away. So I go there and it's a no go, it kinda screws up my day tomorrow having to wait another 10 hrs.
    We will see

Got back to Michigan in time for freezing rain.
Now I'm reloading for North Carolina. A much needed break from the snow.

This turned Into a crap week.
Appointment at grocery warehouse for 5pm in Nc. Next load is scheduled Friday night going to Alabama. THEN I might get home...4 days late. Low miles this week due to appointment unload times. Ie poor planning. Times like this I wish I were on percentage.

    Tennesseahawk Thanks this.

I just experienced the quickest grocery warehouse unload of my career. Done in less than 2 hrs. I'm moderately satisfied.

Don't you wish that it would be like that all the time?
