Where do I sign up? I'd drop my current mileage lease for a percentage line haul deal with the opportunity to finance AND have far lower monthly truck payments. Is a fuel surcharge already factored into your carriers per mile average?

Why not just hire company drivers to run for you if you don't like running O/O's? Seems like you've got the connections and financing set up to buy your own fleet, and if you're willing to pay out $2.37/mi, it would be cheaper in the long run to hire drivers to run your equipment at 36-40 cents/mi. What type of hauling do you do?

I Have company drivers now and we are looking everyday for more but there is a driver shortage. Thus is a way to attract company drivers who maybe want to own there own truck to my company. We pay 72% of on average $2.37 per mile. Dry vans with a few reefers

His profile says he is located in South Carolina so I would assume he would want drivers from that area so he can work with them.

Yes, a walk away with JCT, variable mileage lease. So the more I run the bigger the payment which is nice when you go home and don't have any miles that week. Don't get me wrong there are plenty of successful people driving here.

I would like to buy a truck, which is what jct offers, but I would like to run on percentage as from my research it seems you make more per mile while not exactly chasing miles perse.

Also your deal of financing a truck with a five year commitment would offer drivers a considerably lower per week fixed payment, which would offset the benefits of having the variable lease option to utilize when going home and not running any miles.

Comparably with what you offer, a driver could find the exact truck they want (within the company guidelines) and not be "stuck" with whatever was left on the lot during orientation.

If this was something that was truly being offered and I was in the hiring area I would definitely be interested. Especially right now since I can't trade into a newer truck with jct (got stuck with what was left on the lot) for another two months.

And while that may not sound like a long time to some, and it's not, when you average 6mpg and all the cool kids in the cascadias avg 7mpg, it definitely feels like a long ### time to trade up.

What you said in your original post would be one of the better lease purchase options compared to anything else out here, and for someone who seriously wants to drive to ownership they could certainly take advantage of your financing power at the dealership.
