All these megas have the same deal. Benefits the company not the driver.

To each their own. Not saying their good or bad only been here two weeks. Not trying get anyone to come here just answering questions. To me its not the final destination its a stop on the way. I pay on my truck for a year save money take that and what my bank will lend me and pay off. Then I'm on my way else where.

Well seen my settlement today was not a happy camper. Payroll messed up only paid me for 1295 miles when I ran 2500.They overlooked a trip I transfloed.I am still in the black though a whole $92 before I take out my taxes. LOL

I hope you are successful in your lease Frank. There are a lot of horror stories out there about leases. It'll be good to see some more success stories.

I'm looking at different lease options, if I'm not taking home over 1k a week after fixed expenses, taxes, and benefits, I'm not doing that... Would rather save for a truck. Besides, that is kind scary letting them dispatch you like a company driver. As you see, they already canceled 2 loads and have you sitting.

This is interesting. When Western bought out SMX, Western did their best to drive out all the lease operators from SMX.

What's more interesting is the op hasn't posted in over a month. Wonder if he left already? I worked at JMar out of Atmore, Al. when Western Express bought them out. I stayed another 6 months and had enough, granted that was a long time ago but haven't heard anything positive about them since. Hope the op didn't get screwed.

Im still at western on the lease program. Getting better miles now after switching DM and complaining enough. Still running a lot of northeast freight but staying busy. I been going home every other weekend. First week out run around 3000 miles less on week I go home around 2400. Truck still running strong no issues so far just a regular service. So far its not been that bad go home when I want run where I want. Well where I want not so much considering 80% westerns freight either originates in northeast or ends there.
