Seems like you just jumped in head first with little to no info? Not saying it's bad because you seem happy, just saying I don't have the balls to leap blindly into a contract based off faith of a company.

I do like your plan of paying on it for a year and then using what you've saved and going to your personal credit union for the rest. But my question is this, why not drive company for a year and save and then flat out buy and never work for a shady mega? Anxious for your answer, drive safe bud

how does fueling work with these lease deals? Do you get a comdata card and get a fuel discount? Do you have to have your own personal funds to fuel the truck before the settlements come in or do they front roll you money for fuel to get started? Always wondered about that.

They give you a EFS card and you get 10 cents off or more a gallon at pilot and flying J. No upfront money straight settlement deductions.

This is my second lease I have done. I did a 4year lease with swift and wouldn't give them 45000 balloon payment for a prostar I had. I just decided to walk when they gave me the option and went on to be a company driver for Epes transport. I stayed with Epes for 3 years and got tired of the you go here you have no choice situation. I saw a walk away lease,go home when you could afford it and run where you want ad so I went for it.
