If 85% of what they do is east coast but you don't go there how could that possibly end up good when you're dependent on staying in good graces to get miles. You'll never find a driver manager that works well with you and life will get difficult.

Good job recognizing. Most drivers are too hardheaded then would wonder why things went bad.

OK so here's my experience with w/e dry van lease purchase on week 3. On this day. Last week I brought home $1857.65 this week I'm on $580. And what ever. The moment you smell northeast... Refuse it. You can't find trailers and you can't find anything coming out. This company will make you sit. Say its your fault. Point blame on every freak situation on you saying its your fault. They will tell owner operators to drive harder and faster on the qualcomm . college kid young grad dispatch. That knows nothing about driving a truck, telling you how to drive fast. Simply because they get bonus checks. The company is huge, 3000 plus trucks. And they will forget who you are quickly. They'll run you heavy. And make you burn fuel hard. And that's the biggest expense in owner operator programs. My last company I was banking $1800 to $2000.00 and I'm kicking myself for switching. My advice? STAY AWAY!!!!! find a smaller outfit that's gonna have dedicated contracts. Don't fall for the money part. You could still be profitable at .90 cents a mile vs. Western express's sliding pay scale. If you get a good truck that is great on fuel economy and stay the heck away from northeast carriers. They make their money on recruiting students and insurance claims. They don't care about the drivers here at this company. Its a joke.
