I don't know why we talk about this. These posters are giving us the 100% undiluted, straight truth, we all know that. For myself, I only want loads over 1,200 miles, 9,860lbs, flat terrain, no construction, following winds, and prompt shippers/consignees. Other than that, no deal.

Your doing well driver and I will say the only one who does better than you is me . I pulled in 6 dollars a mile loaded or empty , id say that's a little bit better. Butwht sealed the deal home evert night. Start at 5am done by 3 pm., five days a week. Now just broker out the loads and now zero headaches.

Excellent thread! Im looking into a lease with tennessee steel haulers at 75% of load 100% fsc ect... fixed trailer tractor is 725 per week. Yes it is a leasepurchase for truck and trailer. This info is from a lease driver with them now. Pick your own loads or load boards. Sounds good if i can keep my average in the 1.85/ mile range. They have prostars and t660's i beleive. Im leaning toward a prostar with cummins.

Good loads who holds the 13% for tax, when you leave if the CO. that are holding that 13% you will be looking for away to pay taxes?
