So I have been doing a lease purchase for a month or so now. I stay out 12 and go home for 2. Is it to much to ask for at least 400 miles a day? Is my expectations to high that's like 7 hours of driving a day? That's 12 days at 400 a day divided by 2 is 2400 a week shouldn't most companies be able to get you that. Frustrated maybe its just me.

No, it's not you. That is the trucking / leasing game. I imagine there are companies offering more miles.

Well....with 8 years experience in the business, and a member here at TTR since May of 2009....and you STILL ended up in a Lease/Purchase program.....what DID you expect?

If the only way for me...to maybe own a truck.....is by lease/purchase....it means I need to stay a company driver for now....lease/purchase...is like buying a tv at the rent to own store.....it will end up costing me 3 times more ...compaired to buying it

No, you are not asking too much (as far as miles go). Even if you can average a mere 50 mph. for the day, you should be able to get 550 miles per day X 6 days a week, you should be averaging a minimum of 3,300 miles per week (easily and legally). Start begging your company for better miles.

2400 mpw seems fine if your on percentage with good rates.

2400 miles a week should be an easy do...but they have to give you the loads with some miles....have you talked with them about it
