1600 just to pay for the truck & biz.n it works out to $7.42 an hour believe it or not. thats 24/7 and fuel not included. i averaged 500 - 600 miles a day so long as the load aloud it.

Seriously? ... Your payment is only about $100 more than mine and I'm socking $.15 a mile into my maintenance account ... yet I break even at 900 miles.

you can always get put out of service at a scale,,log violation,,have a few small accidents in the swift yard,,etc, you get fired they can't make you pay,,,,don't worry about DAC unless you want to work for one of the slave big fleet companies again,

He still has to list all driving jobs he has had in the last 10 years per the FMCSA so even if he applies to companies that do not use DAC if the company he applies to contacts Swift (as they are likely to do being it would be the last job he held), Swift would just give then the same info they listed on DAC.

Screwing up on purpose just doesn’t seem like a smart move under any circumstance.

Rationalize it however you want ... You can either make a profit running a business or you can go broke playing at a hobby.
