There are a lot of leases that work. I get paid percentage not by the mile and make real good money. Home every three weeks. Leasing a new 2015 cascadia.

I really don't have any interest in "taking over" your lease, but I am interested in cashing out the lease if the price is right. If you don't mind PM me the truck specs(eng, trans, rears ect.) and mileage and mods if any, and the buy out price, maybe we can work something out.

Day late and a dollar short ... he turned in the truck back in October, I saw it west bound on I30 in Texas in early December ... couldn't miss those gawd ugly red fender mirrors. So I guess he was right on that point - you will notice him going down the road

1. When you are leasing a truck, you do not drive like a bat out he## because you then eat up your fuel surcharge.
2. Spec your truck for the type of work you will be doing, EX: If you are going to be running mountains or flat mostly and are you going to have heavy loads all the time or light loads?
3. Are you getting paid empty miles and how much, is it the same as loaded or less, if not getting paid empty or getting paid less then try to keep empty miles down.
4. Only fill up truck with fuel for that trip, over filing eats at your pay, and as a lease you should be able to choose where to get fuel so look for cheapest place to get fuel.
5. You should have the option to put so much into maintenance account, but you can also choose to open an account on your own where you do not have to ask when you want to take money out of your account and you will not have to pay to do so.
6. Keep a record of trips with all expenses for that trip and how much miles were paid for that trip etc.
7. Stay away from tricking your truck out no matter how tempting, keep to the essentials like maybe an icebox to save on food etc.
There are many more but this should help to give you an idea. I have a family of drivers who are against Lease Purchase but everyone is different, and I have known ones who tried and fell on there face but then a couple of years later tried again and are doing great. I know all of you are guys on here and guys are just so different when it comes to helping, its like your helping but downing at the same time, lol, men. -
