This from one week, although it's a typical week, doesn't represent all weeks. I also AM NOT in a L/P program with Andrus. I am simply using company information on L/P for a theoretical comparision.
Total miles 2998 × $.95 = $2848.10
FSC. 2998 × $.20 = $599.60
Detention pay 5 hrs × $15 = $75
Total income/Gross $3522.70
Fuel 2998÷7.4mpg×$3.75= $1519.25
Truck payment. $400.00
Maint. Fund 2998×.085= $254.83
Physical damage insurance. $25.00
Occup./ accident/ worker comp $63.75
Licensing, taxes and fees. $50.00
Bobtail insurance $8.75
Truck deposit for 25 weeks. $100.00
Total expenses. $2421.58
Net take home. $1101.12
Examples below assume company driver getting 85% of gross pay and $75 Detention pay. Also personal medical insurance/401k may represent a lower % of gross pay.
2998 x $.25 ×.85%+$75= $712.08
2998 × $.30 ×.85%+$75= $839.49
2998 × $.35 ×.85%+$75= $966.90
2998 × $.40 ×.85%+$75= $1094.32
2998 × $.45 ×.85%+$75= $1221.74
What I get out of this:
A driver making less than .35 cpm may be interested considering this lease is on the low side of leases.
A driver making .36 cpm or more would not be interested.
Peace, steerswithears.

there's no gaurantee your going to get 3000 miles EVERY week. 2500 if your lucky.
there's no gaurantee your going to get 7.4 mpg every tank.
$400 truck payments seems pretty cheap for newer equipment.
o/o's need $1.40 roughly to break even. and your talking $1.15 with truck payments. what you going to do for time off, or breakdowns?Steerswithears Thanks this. -
Snowwy I'm not in the lease purchase program. Just giving an example of Andrus' s program. There are a lot of people on here asking for numbers. Just sharing what I have access too.
I average 7.2- 7.8 monthly mpg and never have dipped below 11,000 miles in a month.

At .50 fsc that's $1499 vs the $600 you have. Even if you figure only 2000 of those miles are loaded that's still $1000.00. Changes your take home to $1501.12 in this scenario.Steerswithears Thanks this. -

By the time you deduct taxes you're making less than a company driver.
