I've seen some bad leases out there but these two have got to take the cake, that is even if you can afford a cake after leasing a truck with these companies.

    Here's the numbers...

    Celadon:
    Pay

    $.94/Mile — Team & Solo

    $.35/Mile — Fuel Surcharge (10/30/14)

    http://www.driveceladon.com/leasepurchase/

Are you kidding me? $1.29 a mile?

What are you left with after paying fuel, the truck, taxes and insurance.. maybe just enough to buy a cake.

If you thought that was bad, TranScam pays $.84 a mile plus fuel while pulling a reefer

Were you a company driver before ? And who for.

still here but looking .. always looking

and no lol I would never lease paid by the mile.

Some % leases out there are OKAY, not gonna make you rich but okay.

A lot of guys at Schnieder are averaging $1.70 doing mostly drop and hooks camping out the Northeast region

fleece lease; pass it on to the driver, who in most cases does not conduct due diligence in these matters.

Well yes there are some with Schneider that are running the northeast, but that is not the only place they are "camped out". Need to read the whole blog on them, not just a few inserts. There is one guy on there that lived in Cali and ran from Cali to Utah back and forth for awhile and made good money and was at home when he wanted.

there is multiple threads on Schneider choice, some with sooo many pages. I've spent hours reading through a lot of it because I'm interested in joining myself.
I'm not saying there's no money elsewhere but stating the area that pays the best.
