If you want a black truck and only one is available, take it. You can clean it, right? And you might have to make the journey. Companies can have an aversion of letting too much information out.

I just went through SNI O/O orientation. I brought my own truck, but the drivers getting trucks from SNI seemed very satisfied with the service they received. If they wanted anything fixed or done to the truck before they left with it, it was taken care of. If you are only doing a one year lease, you can always change trucks after that term. I would have at least $5k set aside for maintenance just in case anything happens though. Like I said, the drivers getting their trucks through SFI seemed happy with how they were treated. SNI just doesn't want to advertise to the trucking world exactly what they are offering and for how much. You will know everything you need to know before you sign the papers.

They generally detail them out to look just like new (in Green Bay anyway)

I am assuming that you are going to get a used truck. I was accepted last fall and I had to cancel that til this year but my rep told me that the trucks will go thru a detailed cleaning and he went out to look into it to see if it had any smoke smell. It was a Freightliner Cascadia. I opted to go with a new truck because the payment on a used truck was lower but the maintenance account had a higher payment.

Another reason I went with a new truck was because SFI was going to put $1400 in my maintenance account.

Yes, that's awesome because that's where the truck is located! Thanks

Another question. ... since you postponed after you were approved, did you have to begin the entire process all over again. .. paperwork, phone interviews, etc??? I am really trying to avoid starting all over. But I figured waiting on that other truck til around March would be to my benefit because the freight and weather will have improved
