When looking for a driving job, the brand of trucks that a company runs is very very far down on my list of priorities. I would strongly suggest that you consider things like cpm, available miles, customer base, freight lanes, home time, health benefits, terminal locations, and many others before the model of the truck. I've driven KWs, Volvos, Freighliner, and Macks. The differences are minimal and not worth passing on an excellent job. Just my opinion.
Aamcotrans, daf105paccar, AModelCat and 11 others Thank this. -

blairandgretchen Thanks this.

Schneider could probably lease you a barebones KW, that weekly payment will probably be beyond sad tho...

Here's a crazy idea, save money for your own w900. Instead of renting a truck from a company you can actually own it, and take the truck anywhere you'd like. I've been realizing that if someone can't save money for there own then getting involved financially in a lease probably isn't the brightest idea. Just sayin
Botoler1984, skyviper73, blairandgretchen and 4 others Thank this. -
I'm guessing if you did a fleece-purchase with a decked out W900 you are going to be paying the trucking company you are driving for at the end of every pay period. How much can you afford to pay to be a trucker in a long hood pretty truck?
Adamblairandgretchen and pusherman Thank this. -
Those long noses are cute, but like the first commenter said, your primary concern should be learning to drive well, not how much nose is sticking out in front of you. That will take longer than you think, so get a couple years experience first; you'll have a better idea of who does what and the kinds of trucks out there. Good luck.
