Nice! I was asking to find out the possibilities. I saw that article about the average O/O making $53K a year. That isn't worth the hassle but what you are saying makes it reasonable! Thanks

So you paid $435/week from June 2010 til August 2014 ? $94,000 total IIRC used trucks were dirt cheap in 2010 too, probably could have bought truck outright for $20,000

Are all these folks that got SFI trucks still happy and have their stuff paid off? I had spoke to them about six months ago just curious what the payments were. $900 or more for used and $1100 I think for new. Both with long lease terms. Weekly payment seemed daunting. But could take anywhere long as they approve the carrier. Might have been a better deal back in the day. Didnt sound too appealing to me, though.

First this is an old post,You need to understand a lot of what the op posted doesn’t seem right and not real information.Like He was making 200,000 a year at FFE basically running local FFE own numbers is o/o average 1.11 on all miles so he would need to be running around 150,000 miles a year plus he doesn’t mention how long he was making the payments of roughly 700 a week plus another 12,000 ballon at end if he only did 3 years he paid well over $100,000 for a Freightliner century an 07 in 2010 would be worth much more 30 to 40 thousand You will always be better off working a company job saving up even if you use a 401 to do it work on getting your credit in good shape at 6% and a company match on 401 you could have around 40,000 depending on your salary in 5 years that’s a really good down payment that get a pretty good interest rate.
