I have a t680 Lease through Swift. I was wondering where I can take the truck to have the engine power raised. I don't really care about the speed limiter, but I know this thing can run more horses than it's doing. I already put the 13sp in and that helps with some hills, but where do you recommend out of the swift network to have such work done?

Take it to an engine shop for the type of engine it has in it, such as Detroit or Cummins and have them upload the software for the higher horsepower rating. It costs a few hundred dollars but it's worth it if the power is turned down. Just make sure it doesn't breach your contract with Swift before you do it.

Exactly what is it you expect to achieve ... yeah you can turn up the power and go upgrade faster ... but all you accomplish is wasting fuel ... you making that much that you can afford to burn some dollars just so you can impress other drivers with how fast you can go up hill?

Check your lease probably has a section about modification of any part of the truck.Usually if caught they will cancel your lease as its not really your truck and could void any warranty

Some times its better to carry more speed in the bottom of hill, so you get a better start at the next one.
