My advice is to walk away and do it quick so you can get some revenue flowing. I was leased to Celadon as well and when they dropped the fuel sc down to Indy pump price they screwed that whole program and then they went even farther by raising payment and maintenance costs and extending the length of the lease.
Also you have another problem being that you're in an international. International screwed the pooch in the nineties when they came out with the dt466 engines and cheaper and cheesy cab interiors and electronics so now their shops are plagued with trucks coming in from all model years all the way back to that time which makes for long waits to get in the shops and frustrated mechanics that just go through the motions of fixing things.
If you want to lease and make money then call Schneider since they are right around the corner from Celadon in indy and do what it takes to get in their choice program. If you don't have a years experience then you will have to be a company team for six months but they will run your butts off making decent money and when you do get to lease with them then if you have half a head on your shoulders you can make some serious cash and they don't have any junk Internationals.

No matter what your decision, I wish you the best of luck.

OP, you're in Indy? I've never shilled for a company before, but check into Old Dominion. They're at the corner of Holt and Morris just off 70 downtown. They love getting teams, and they treat their drivers well. Good equipment, and it is maintained better than I've seen at any other company. There's a full service truck and trailer shop on site. Pay for teams starts at .62/mile. Per driver, not split. Depending on how hard you and your teammate want to run, you can make very good money. You'd be pulling doubles, but that's not as scary as it sounds. It's a company job so you can't brag up owning the truck, but you won't be sitting and footing the bill for a breakdown either.

Look at the posts by blairandgretchen and read his blog post. He teamed with his wife for OD for a good while, and he has a lot of good information out there.

Good luck whatever you decide to do.
