I have too many regrets to list.
-
I make threads that are similar but mean different things. Sometimes u gotta ask in a different way to get a better response to the question. My treads help people and also helps me get both sides of the world so I'm doing my research and this helps me and others do their homework.

Thanks for being honest thelushlarry hopeful u got it together and are doing well. If u could tell me what made u regret was it u or the company that made u feel that way. What would u do better

I got burned really bad by Arnold transport. Would only make enough to pay for fuel and truck note. When I figured out that they didn't have any freight of their own and were just getting loads off the load boards i started calling brokers that i knew. That went ok for a few weeks until they got pissed that I wouldn't run their garbage freight. After that they wouldn't sign off on the paperwork that the brokers sent them. When I walked away they tried to keep me from taking the chains and tarps that i paid for with my first couple of settlements. Other guys were leaving them on the trailer which then got resold to another sucker/lease purchaser/dummy. Save your money and buy a truck from a dealer or do like i did and buy an older truck for cash and fix it as you go.

Trans Am leases trucks to brand new drivers
that dont really know how to drive
manage hours
or run a business
they have orientation every week with 40-50 people at 2 locations
when i started there in 3/10 they had 1100 trucks
4 years later they still have 1100 trucks
they get 5 new trucks every week so the fleet turns over every 4 years
this tells me 40-50 drivers quit every week
and are paying for the equipmentMarky84 Thanks this. -
Wow that's crazy thank u for responding to my thread I lot to hear all the experience from all the guys out their good or bad . So tell me mr cranky Yankee are u doing well at trans am

That's a positive look on things so did u buy from dealer or threw lease. I want to know are u planning to go independent and also what kinda of truck u would say is a good dependable truck with cheap parts .

I drove trucks in 70's and 80's and came back in 3/10
lasted 18 months got experience and moved on to a good company position
I don't recommend leasing to anyone
your responsible for all your own taxes
no company healthcare
is like going to Vegas someone wins but it is weighted in the house favor
