You can overcome a lot, but if you don't know how to run a business only luck will keep you in business.

This should be every leasing company's motto. And every lessee should have to sign this statement up front.

First of all your a driver and should not own a truck if your did not plan ahead! If your going in to Owner Operator you should know that your truck is your main income and will suffer break downs.
It is not the companies responsibility to maintain your truck, it is yours and if you don't plan ahead then it is on you not them. If you own a store and the power gets cut off due to lack of payment who are you going to blame? Every one blames the company but we all forget that we are the ones that said to them "I am an O/O" now give me a truck!
I also like that the whole time your ######## about your company your barrowing money from them to live on did you think your truck would last for ever? Did you think you will never get sick? What was your plan to pay for the break down? Ho let me guess the company is going to pay for it than draw it from your check a little at a time. Yea it is a bad company best not to work their hu.

L/P main objective is passing high maintenance on to operator.

Here's a true fact- 90% of people against leases have never done one.

Both of you, prove your "facts." Otherwise, it's nothing more than words from truckers in a driver lounge.

Actually he is partially right. 80% of ALL businesses fail within the first year. Not just trucking. Trucking is a business same as any other.

    DenaliDad and mqc1298 Thank this.
