I am currently seeking a co-driver (preferably female) to team up with me on a western regional lanes. I know the question is going to be asked, so I'll answer it now: I prefer a female co-driver because I like to be around someone who takes care of themselves. I've teamed with other men before, but the experiences weren't favorable. Y'all are gross and smell funny. Haha. I'm respectful, kind, and very easy to get along with, but I digress...
The company I work for is Marten Transport. Easy enough to get on with as long as you have close to 6 months OTR experience and don't suck tremendously in our industry. Felonies and driving infractions will more than likely disqualify you, unless another driver can put in a good word, which would sneak you in the backdoor. It helps to know somebody that knows somebody else, right?
Onto the incentives:
As a team driver, you become the company's favored child. You get first pick on brand new trucks, more drop/hook contracts than solo drivers, more dedicated contracts, and more miles than you can shake a stick at. I'm not modest, so I'll share some personal info: I've got just over 3 years driving and I'm making 41 cpm for all miles driven which puts my paycheck round about $2,500 a week on a steady weekly run. My current partner (she's going back to solo because she can't handle the stress of not being able to stop every hour and waste precious time *Eyeroll*) has about 8 months driving experience and she's at 38 cpm. Not making much less than I am. The pay is a stack of perdiem, team premium pay, and basic experience pay. Not to mention safety bonuses, fuel bonuses, and their awesome detention pay. If a shipper, consignee, shop getting repairs, or stuck in bad weather, you're making $20 up to 5 hours a day. If we're stuck overnight, they pay for our hotel and the ride there and back (if a taxi is necessary). Their trucks are also new and very few suffer mechanical issues so you stay running.
So let's sum this up: If you're interested in teaming with me, you'll be in good hands and your bank account will stay wealthy. I'll also work around your home time because I don't need to take mine much. If you have any questions send me a private message or simply reply below and I will send you a message back with my contact information.
No its not too good to be true. No I'm not a recruiter. I'm a driver who is currently getting loaded in a very cold Weston, OR at the Smith plant grabbing a load that's bound for SoCal.
Looking forward to hearing from ya!

Well - hate to say it, but I will.
I've met women who take less pride in their personal appearance than men.
If you want to run hard miles, then there's not a whole lot of time for 2 showers a day.
Wet wipes and deodorant will get you through a day or so.
Your numbers - $2500 'paycheck' (is that after or before taxes?) - 6,097 miles at .41cpm?
There's a lot of higher paying team positions out there, especially for somebody with 3 years experience.
Just sayin.bubbagumpshrimp, PhoenixOneNine and 406onthego Thank this. -
Already found one. Thanks, guys. Not that you were any help, but thanks for the trolling and entertainment. Haha.
