Hey all, Pretty new to the forums and haven't done much digging around yet. Just wanted to put this question out there as I start looking around through the forums: What resources other than craigslist are there for finding local and/or regional cdl jobs? There's not a specific locale that I have in mind. Right now I'm OTR and don't really have a home; but say I'm thinking about living in Portland OR and want to find a local job there, or Dallas, or Las Vegas, you get the idea. Appreciate any feedback!

Check with Reddaway in Portland. They are based out of there. They also got a terminal down in Vegas. If you want local in Texas, there is a bunch of local jobs like moving oil between refineries and customers. They also have a TON of construction driver jobs down there as well. My old military coworker just got picked up driving a cement truck or something. Get an idea where you want to live, then compile a list of all the companies in that area and check out their websites. Also look them up on Facebook since they use that as a medium to advertise jobs. Good luck on your search.

Conway Freight in Clackamas was hiring recently.

Clackamas...Nice area, delivered a load there once and drove through twice.
You can also Google search truck companies and a city/state with it, thats what I have been doing looking for local companies in California. -

How about thinking differently. look at the trucks you see. google and call them if you see them in your area. the better companies dont need to advertise.
if you look in truck stop adds and on the internet good luck. there is probably a reason they need to advertise. low pay , slave driven dispatchers and trucks with tracking devices and so on.
Dont be like most of the sheeple in trucks. be different and REBEL BY THINKING
