Tips to obtain routes?

Hello All!

My name is Jon, I'm new to the forum, and I'm a owner operator/IC with full authority I have both my DOT and MC #S. I have a 2008 Hino Box Truck 268A Gvw 25,950 (Non-CDL), blankets, straps, hand truck. (Just to give a idea of what I have) I'd like to get a local route, If not local then routes within 200 miles per day. Whether its delivering bread, Paper products, chips. Does anyone know how I can obtain routes? I just need to be pointed in the right direction. I'm a newbie.

I would really appreciate the positive informative feedback. I've heard the negativity already, I'd like to hear not just the cons but also the pros as well. I want a route that has growth potential. Anyone have any feedback? Preferably guys that are currently or have been in the route work business and know what they're talking about. Thanks all in advance!

 

That's awesome, thanks Truck Smarter, Im going to inbox you some things. And yeah I saw that they're around that price for a route. Im looking to work a route then eventually own it but IDK how to get into it because I don't have the funds to outright buy one. Was hoping someone on here knew
