Fedex freight or ground ?

    Freight gets you home every day/night. Ground is more regional. Both pay really well and have super fast trucks.

    Tkx road-runner...;tell me what would be a decent starting pay for a line haul driver fedex freight/ground ?

    I thought Ground was a contractor fleet - ?

    yeah they said for ground you can only apply through a contractor ...so probably it will pay less than freight....but not sure ,maybe fedex drivers can tell us

    Pay depends where you live. In your case $.51-.65 CPM seems like a fair starting point plus $20/hour for none driving duties.

    Both ground and freight have a large portion of their freight contracted out. Both have a company fleet/drivers.

    Varies. FedEx might be one that requires a year. Depends how bad they need bodies. Strange for them to hire now. Tail end of summer and freight tends to cool off. They must have a decent volume. I recommend you get all your endorsements including hazmat before you apply.
