    It's part of our wonderful new contract (pfft). ABF may now use outside carriers between certain terminals. I believe breakbulk to breakbulk only.

    Funny thing the NMFA says to use union carriers whenever possible. Time for the locals to get off their butts, get to the terminals and start taking video and demanding to see who has been sitting while a shiny wheel scab was pulling their load. Then get the grievances filed so a brother is made whole in every way.

    Our barn doesn't sit, Work is year round for everyone. Haven't had werner pull anything yet. We need quality drivers ( p/d checkers) with endorsements on hand. no one seems to last more then a few weeks. Folks don't understand, Have to get in 90 working days to get a rate, can't go by $14hr for those previous working days then it's a generous pay increase and benefits, Minus the crap 2yr for 1 week vaca.
