Tanker jobs and intermodal Frieght jobs are in high demand for local truck drivers here in the Houston area. Conway and other big name companies are in the Houston Metro area as well.

 

$3k every two weeks? You're doing well already from a $ standpoint. As the folks already mentioned, you can look for local by checking out food service, LTL, and tanker companies. LTL will usually require doubles/triples, tank, and hazmat endorsements. You'll obviously need tank for a tanker job. Might as well get your endorsements now.
