I'd say you have one depending how old the tickets are, and if any of them were 15+ over. But it would be a slim chance with most in my opinion.

Job hopping and some tickets: Guilty
Posses Tanker, Haz-mat, doubles/triples endorsements and not a Felon. Should throw in a application.
Salad, That is his opinion and only his opinion.blacklabel Thanks this. -
Was just one speeding ticket.
I have tank/haz going to get doubles then apply to a couple. -
Yes, with 7 years experience, if the speeding ticket is all you have you should have no trouble signing on. Sorry!blacklabel Thanks this. -
Dude, I hopped jobs so often they thought I was part kangaroo. Don't worry about an 8-over ticket, that's nothing. It may have been a bone of contention once, but there's an actual driver shortage going on, so they aren't really going to care. (There are limits, however--being tagged for running 90mph with a beer in your hand and a joint in your mouth will probably get you round-filed.)
Once you get your doubles, throw those apps in, be honest about your background, and be patient. FXF took a year to call me back, but it was well worth the wait. Good luck!blacklabel Thanks this. -
If there is a driver shortage going on, these companies sure are picky still. I applied with Estes on Thursday morning, called back today and they said they were going to pass on me because I have under a year of experience. I've done food service for 5 months, and been doing city P&D with Reddaway for almost 4 months now. He mentioned that it looks like I "job hopped" a lot and to call back and reapply when you have 2 years exp.
another one one of my former co-workers just hired on with them last week and he has been thru 5 jobs in the last year... Talk about job hopping.NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
When I joined ABF had no intention of getting tanker endorsement, Now it's mandatory. ABF is a great company to work for, but other ways to make a honest fair wage with your credentials and not beat up your body.blacklabel Thanks this. -
Don't get discouraged...experience counts for a lot, and that will only come with time.BIGreem1985 Thanks this. -
Many threads on here about various ways around the experienced needed situation. No cliff notes from me in this thread, Did my researching and trial and errors.
