detroit 12 -7 turbo on E 6 mac any info out there ?

I bought a 1985 Mack cabover and have been having issues with the( NEW) turbo that is on it . I suspect it is leaking past the seal and pressurizing up the crank case . I was told that a detroit 12-7 60 series turbo would be a good replacement and i could add a few H.P. Looking for any Been there done that information if anyone has any . Thank you , Jerry .

I have heard of them put on late model E7'S but not a E6 borq warner 400 is what a stock e7 uses
