I have a 94 mack 400, engine still shutting off like someone shut the key off. I think it is the fuel shut off, or a fuel shut off relay or a loose wire but i cannot find any of it. does anyone have any ideas?

when you start the engine do you depress the clutch? when you shut the engine off do you depress the clutch? when shutting down an engine you should depress the clutch so as the flywheel ,shaft and everything else that is there will not rock back and forth ruining your tranny and clutch assembly in the long run.

This might help. If you read my post, I am having cutting out issues as well. My engine is a EN7 400. On the side of the injector pump, near the back, you will find a switch with two wires, one black and the other white. That believe it or not is the TEM sensor which controls the whole world. That little fellow has to be correct or you will find yourself switching off as I have been. The way to set it is remove said switch, turn engine until you see a tab/piece of metal. You can not miss it and if you do, turn the engine again to confirm it. Line the tab up in the middle of the hole. Take the TEM, wind the locking nut back to give you more threads in front, apply sealant to thread a wind the sensor in until it bottoms out, not hard just screw it in by hand. Lock the nut up. Common sense says you should leave an air gap between tab and sensor end but not in this case. Having no gap is the difference between running good and endless issues. That adjustment has made my truck start better and in the morning will see if it has cured my cutting out. If you are not sure, take it to Mack and ask them to set it for you. The fault code in the ECU comes up a camshaft sensor/ intermittent loss of communication.

I would be interested to know if it cures your problem, please keep me informed.
