Hello, this is my first post so bear with me. I just purchased a '13 Pinnacle to replace our aging Century for our farm. I've been playing around with it this weekend and haven't had time yet to talk to the dealer. I noticed that when on the highway going more than 65 a message comes up saying something like "over operator os speed" or something like that. I can clear it from the enter button on the stalk but comes up every time I go above 65. Any way to bump that speed limit up? Also how tight do the doors close? It seems like the driver door in the upper front corner has noticeable amount of wind noise when going at highway speeds. The door closes just fine and the passenger door doesn't seem to have this wind noise. I've checked the gaskets but everything seems fine. I also get a rattle of some sorts in the driver door. Is this normal? One last question. I get some creaking in the passenger side of the dash. Sounds like the plastic flexing. Again is this normal or can I get the dealer to "adjust" the panels for this? Other than these things, this truck is awesome. Coming from a '98 Century day cab, this thing is a Cadillac. I got the M drive and all I can say is wow. Can't wait to get it "stickered" up able to pull some loads to try it out. Thanks for any info.
Few questions on 2013 Pinnacle

I would think the speed alarm is something that you can set, but it may be password protected. You need to spend some time reading the owner's manual and scrolling around in the dash display to find the settings. If your truck was part of an order for a carrier it may be protected, otherwise the password will be just all zeros.

What is the M drive?

I have the wind noise on my trucks as well. I seem to notice it more (very non-scientifically) when I am in the sleeper model vs the daycab. After a while I dont notice it at all. Overall I would say the truck is very quiet so you tend to hear things like that more because you really don't hear much engine noise to drown it all out.
As for the speed warning, i imagine that is quick programing they forgot to remove before they handed you the keys. -
Well have an appointment setup for this Friday to look things over. Service at the Hagerstown, MD dealership is great. They said sometimes the doors need some adjustments and they'll take a look at the dash to get it a bit quieter. I think I figured out the speed limit problem. Thanks for the replies.

Everything got looked at. The air noise ended up being the window seal and they readjusted the driver and passenger doors. Also, couldn't stop the dash from creaking but I might take a look at that. The computer was setup with a higher speed limit. So overall very happy.

One more question. At what mileage should I change my oil for the first time? Thanks

From most of the OP questions I'm wondering if he got a manual? There should be one for regular operations and other for maintenance and the engine.
