I am considering buying a Mack Rawhide and am hoping to get feedback on how the Mack engines and "M" drive transmissions perform? Also what kind of fuel mileage are these trucks getting? I appreciate all your help!

I am running two 2013 Pinnacles (axle back) with MP8 505 and M-drive. So far they are running great, but I only have a combined 120-140,000kms so they are barely worked in.
The drivers were first hesitant about the M-drive as neither had driven an automated manual before but both have come to like them. The transmission does a good job skipping gears when empty sometimes even loaded and will shift faster than you could which is nice on hills. If you shift manually it does it right away as well. In the city it is great to have, as you wont tire yourself out in traffic. I know one owner who is switching his gravel trucks over to them after buy T800s for the past 10 years.
I am pulling 140,000lbs on mostly flat roads and the engine has enough power for it. I run a dedicated out and back, Unloaded I average around 7-7.5 (weight is around 45,000lbs) and coming back loaded the display shows a lot around 4-4.5mpg. I drive a little slower (106kph) on the way back than my drivers and on my last trip i think i had the computer saying 4.7mpg. Total trip average is around 5.5mpg running at 108km/h and there is about an hour of high idle in that figure so it pulls it down from its actual road mileage. I fill the DEF every four days or so.

The truck is very quiet and has great ride quality.

We have a 2011 CHU613 with a 445hp mp8 and a 10 spd... It only has 50k miles on it and is currently getting 5 mpg... We pull hoppers up and down hills on back roads grossing ~85k lbs. the trucks average speed is showing 21 mph because all the sitting in corn lines on cold days and slow back roads. But keep in mind we only haul our own grain so we run empty home... But the mills r only around 40 miles away

We also just bought a 2013 CHU613 rawhide with the 505 hp MP8 with a Mack 13 speed. This truck does the same exact thing and is already getting the same fuel mileage with only 10k miles on it. Very happy with both of them so far. Very quiet and pull hard and actually ride nice for day cab Mack's
