I have a Mack Pinnacle daycab from Old Dominon leasing for the next umpteen months. There are 2 switches on the dash I don't understand. One has a picture of the battery on it, and the other has what looks like a key on it.

Whatinthehades do these switches do? Checked the owners manual, didn't cover them.

Accessory Switches,Battery Power and Ignition Power.

It is under Function of Optional Switches in the owners manual.

Do you have to add a wire to the switch? After a brief look there is not a loose pigtail from the back of the switch.

On my truck the battery button controls power to the inverter. I've never figured out the key button.

I have a 2013 CH ad my manual says the battery switch is for "auxiliary power". My mechanic thinks it may tie all 4 batteries together to start the truck if the batteries are down. Only my driver's side batteries are hooked to the starter. I have a switch that has a cross hair looking emblem with a circle behind it. Anyone have any idea what it does? Doesn't say in the book. It's a momentary switch and doesn't stay in the on position. Haven't hit it with the ignition on yet
