What exactly do you need to know? I drive an '09 CXU 613, 56" low rise sleeper, with the MP8 445 hp, Eaton Fuller 10spd Autoshift.

I got your PM, can you please post your questions in the forum, I may or may not be able to help you entirely, but others might also be able to chime in. At present, I don't have a working phone until Friday. I have no landline at home, and my cell decided is being replaced.

Hi there Striker, I'm looking at purchasing a used 08 Mack Pinnacle MP8 with the Eaton-Fuller Ultrashift. Not sure on the rear end ratio, but it has approx 625K on her and 485hp. I'm trying to find help on fuel mileage, power performance and overall reliability. I want to know about particular problems and how good are the Mack dealers at handling mechanical issues and can anyone work on this or just a Mack dealer ? Thank you

It's not an Ultrashift, it's an Autoshift, should be a 10 spd with a clutch. Biggest issue will be DPF service, IIRC it's recommended to be cleaned around 350K and every 350 there after. The 7th injector can be a bit problematic, I think we replaced mine a couple of times. Also, find out if the injector seals were replaced and upgraded, this was a problem area. Service at Mack dealers depends on the dealer, it's a total crap shoot.
