Any truck is worth using so long as its mechanically a good truck. Mack is a great truck as long as its maintained right. Some companies won't lease on an older truck, but I think its their loss. Here at Landstar, we have lots of older trucks leased on, and some of them are really nice. Just make sure its a good, safe truck.

thanks ya it looks to be a solid truck i dont know specs but looks to be in great shape
-
Most likely a 300+. I drove one years ago. Check the shift gearbox to make sure it's not wore out, and the seals on the aftercooler.

Mack MH?? If it's in good shape it would absolutely be worth running.....
-
Ya there are 3 for sale from a small company to the south of me they look good i haven't seen the engine or how it runs
-
Should be an e-6 (inline 6) or e9 (v8). Both are excellent motors if properly maintained. Our 88 RD is still kickin its ORIGINAL e-6.350,.although turned up a.little
-
Can you still get parts for them hard or no
-
E6 are pretty common still......Some e9 are getting tricky......

Never any pains?
Because that old Mack will kick you from here to kingdom come.baha Thanks this.
