Mark is in the same boat with me

Mark is permanent laid off like me Don is running teams still hugging ion the leg that is wizzzing on him ,the none union guys do all the local work to Buick goodwill etc 10 drivers , when the strike is done they are coving the runs with temps or what ever Mike AND Larry and Dale are still there
Larry and Mike they were the most rotten people i have ever worked for glad I'm done with them , but starting over at 51 and staying out for weeks is going to be a new life

dude thats ########, and who the hell is this dale?? yeah, im not sad at all that i am over in new york now, nothing left at all in michigan.

so what happened to catharine and phil and greg? if it wasnt for the good 2nd and 3rd shift dispatch, i probably would have quit a lot sooner.

BTW, dunno how tied down you are to michigan, but if you want to run for a decent company over in new york, HFL has about 20 trucks, NO gps, paper logs so you can get home every other day for sure, and the equipment is all top of the line internationals. The only problem i see is that all we run is chicago, jersey, and philly. all one day trips for guys in the area. but some of the guys live farther out and just stop by the house on the way out or whatever. lemme know, i can get you their number.

I'd be angrier over not having a union, but the owner of the company go to work every day and runs a local wrecker, and he will talk to you with respect, so no mike eddy ########.

Thats the best ive found around the buffalo area in my 2 months of living here. I wish i knew the area like i know my hometown of flint, but hey, what ltl is left in flint? last i knew yellow and abf wern't in the business of running crack or whores.

btw, another hot tip, if you get your hazmat and doubles, and go to abf, have SOMEONE else go over your app with a fine toothed comb. those guys are real ####### about EVERYTHING. I was going to go there as a casual, but as it turns out, you have to bust ### no matter what until you are hired on as fulltime. and no seniority for casuals!!

So then i got hired on as a casual at a container hauler over here, cope bestway express, neat place, not enough work though. They have old whopped out trucks, all early 80's R series macks, and a couple white gmc daycabs, but who cares when its hourly pay with ot after 8!! they were a 1st shift only, mon-fri job though, and with 2 casuals ahead of me on seniority, i was only getting 3 days a week. that, along with the stress of not knowing a DAMN thing about driving around metro buffalo, had me looking for work elsewhere.

have you thought about cheiftan? or HELP? ive talked to guys at cheiftan, sounds like a joke, but in the meantime, that might be the best you get around michigan, since most companies dont even run there.

dale is the dock worker at night he is a snitch and a friend of Larry's,me and don called him out one night , cause he acts like he is some kinda bmf he didn't take it up with ether of us but told his buddy Larry (((hahhaaaa))) I'm getting unemployment now and my brother is head dispatcher at a expediting trucking comp , but things there are slow now, my son works there , and we might get out and team if there is Good steady work , still waiting for my 401 payment i cashed it out before the gov or someone finds a way to steal it , keep i touch bro Bigred

hey badazred, heard it through the grapevine that the guys who stuck it out at the burton terminal are still union?? since the strike is over they had to call some guys back, and that even though the company hates the burton terminal, they have to have it because it is so close to the flint/saginaw/bay city operations?

heard that some guy out of the burton term was still union and that he was hauling racks on HIS bid run to syracuse and back?

you got it bro they still running but alot of us didnt get a offer to run anything and there is a class action grevance to get us paid for all the work , im still looking fo a job , got hard up and went over to bell warehousing ant got no reply from them MTS has black balled me iam sure,JB Hunt will take me but life on the road 2-3 weeks at a time will probley shorten my life span lol,i just got paid for a grevance for them making me sit in the parking lot 4 hours one night waiting for a pontaic load then sending me home, keep in touch
Clark and Greg and Tammy and Jeff are all dispatchers # bell

MTS just bought Eldorado Logistics from Canada. Does anybody have more details about this ? I used to work for Eldorado and now I am really concerned after I read all the postings regarding MTS.

nothing but ill probley here somthing i know a few but licker under the table drivers who are still driving out of the flint are termenal (even though its closed and all the drivers have been fired) ya right

what a bummer, that sucks man, well, if you get over to bell, tell all the old dispatchers bill gough sez whats up, hopefully you win the big greiveance.

I dont understand how they ever thought they would be able to run gm parts in michigan without a terminal in flint, ya know? thats the central point of it all, and that terminal is in the perfect spot.

yeah, dont go to jb hunt, that place is a joke. its tough to get anything decent for otr in michigan, NOTHING goes up there except car parts. Don told me he had a friend that drove for heartland, and that they do automotive parts too, and the hometime is similar to mts.

You could always go down to warren and haul gm parts for fss couldnt you? have you tried the penske flint shuttle? or how about getting in at Alvan in saginaw? i heard alvan is actually really good, or you could try usf holland, or get your endorsements and go to abf.

there has to be something around there better than bell or jb hunt, hell, working for conway or fedex or estes would be better than jb hunt.

MTS/RTS Closing Doors at H.Hts Terminal

Just seen on 6:00 PM new from Ohio that MTS is closing their terminal in Huber Heights, OH just north of Dayton, OH because of the bad situation of General Motors. Long time coming. Should have been sooner. Everything that has been stated in this forum about MTS is really understatement of the way the equipment turn to and the way they treated drivers. According to the news report, some drivers were still Union. I thought Union was done away with completely already.

CRST I/C

Hey guys i went to CRST ind contractor what a nightmere you pay for every thing they take all your pay for maintance and other crafty deductions till your broke then when you do need your truck fixed it took them 14 days while i was in pa so no pay and a motel room out of my pocket broke me i turned there tractor in and now looking for work again any ideas out there 18yrs exp no tic or acc later take care
