If your instructions say something like turn west at north gate industrial and then TL at Industrial Dr. that would be the one in Granite City. I never take the crazy directions through town. I come in from the north (xt 3 south to Northgate Indutrial is sooooo much easier than navigating crack town).
If you are at the terminal in Madison its not that difficult to cut acrosd town to Precoat. Much shorter than making your way around to exit 3 then going back south.

I was lucky to get a spot at the third and final option.

Any word on how long that exit at 140 is going to be blocked?
It should only be closed for another week, and then they are going to open up one side again. I am not sure which one it is though. It might just be open going south which does not help unless you want to park there and then go south on 61 down to sunbury and then pick up the expressway again there.
I will keep you all posted as I find out info.

And will there be anyone at the Madison yard this weekend? The coffee is on me.
Hey Hvyhaul, I see you are from Olive Branch, Ms. I'm from the Tupelo area. How is Mavericks freight down here?

they had a bridge closed for repairs there for a little while, making that route a PITA. Not to mention, if you missed a sign/turn, your almost immediately on a restricted street...and Granite City PD loves the big trucks.

and i'll agree that pre coat in St. Louis suuuuucks! lol!
    i was only there twice.

the work order set overnight parking but they don't allow you anymore
so I spent the night on the side of the road next to railroad tracks
this load is going to sun berry ohio about 10 miles from my house
when I deliver I will have 3028 miles for the week
it has been a fun and interesting week I will get full details later
last time i stayed at Dudley, they were complaining about the garbage/piss bottles/etc...
i'm not surprised by their decision to end O/N parking.

Bridge repair must be done. I just traversed that route about two weeks ago.

It's not to bad. I've been over to Nucor quite a few times. Then there is the drywall shipper in West Memphis. And there are a couple of places down around you.
