Heading For Little Rock! Maverick

I will be here through Thursday...if I ever get unloaded and get the truck turned in...lol...raining and they unload outside and it is drywall...this could take a while!

 

I spent the day observing the recruiters and the processors. I am so impressed with the systems that Maverick has in place. There is so much more that goes into getting an applicant all the way through the system to get invited to orientation. When you are invited to orientation, it is your job to loose! As long as you can pass the drug test, the physical test and you were completely honest on everything that you submitted, you are not going to be hit with any surprises. Some companies do not start the process until you arrive at their orientation. Not Maverick! I always knew this, but after seeing all the work that goes into making sure that Maverick is a good fit for the driver and the driver for Maverick, I was super impressed.

I arrived home on Friday afternoon. It was strange not to have to wait at the truck stop for my wife to come pick me up. Just now finished stowing all of my stuff up in the lot. Ed is picking me up at the truck stop at 1400 and we are heading to west Virginia for Monday morning. Then we are going to make a run around ohio and end up back at my house on Thursday. I am going to pick up my Maverick Mobile....actually a very nice Ford Traverse...and follow him down to Ky where we are going to call on some schools. Then I will be back home on Friday. I will keep you posted where I actually go to and anything of interest......

 

Met Ed up at the pilot at 1400. On the way to Charleston we stopped in at Destiny Trucking in Wellston Ohio so i would know where it was. We have a school in Charleston at 0800 and then we are heading to Marietta Ohio. I am looking forward to.this!
