mavericks physical test

First day of orientation taught me that we (or at least my buddy and I) didn't learn as much as we thought we did in truck driving school. Just FYI for anyone not familiar with Maverick.... there is only one way and that's the Maverick way; which I'm glad it is the way it is; so that I learn from the best on how to do things the right way. Our instructor was telling us today that Maverick is in the process of going to paperless logs. I screwed my practice log up today, but I would rather mess up here than mess up on the road. Got physicals tomorrow; so going to be another long day! With that said, be safe out there!! Good luck firebird!

 

Yea, just see how many people fail the first 2 hours while your there, i bet half the class leaves. And yes you can go home if your injured but you do have to stay there at little rock terminal... and going home on weekends...that is YOUR EXPENSE...NOT THERES.

 

A lot of people get to orientation and find out their CDL school was a glorified State Licensing Mill instead of CDL training. I thought Maverick was joking when they had a map reading class until I saw the information was foreign to more than half the class.
