I finally got that load delivered...
The mechanic that left the valve cover loose called me a 0730 this morning, he realized after he went home that he left the valve cover loose.
Told me if I came back by, they'd steam clean the engine for me.
Looks like I'm going back to Specialized...

That steam clean include putting more oil back in the truck?

WOW...what a difference a couple of new injectors and an overhead makes.
I was only getting 6.2 mpg running empty...now I'm getting 6.4 running loaded (65 mph)...a picture is worth a thousand words. Not a bad days work either, 644 miles plus getting loaded today (hauling a water truck)
Blurry...but readable.
JimTheHut Thanks this. -
Doing pretty good there!!
-
5.8 MPG through the mountains of PA today...and passing trucks going uphill, LOL.

Ridgerunner, I JUST found this thread. I have been reading and posting on what I THOUGHT were all of the Maverick Threads on here. That is until I discovered your HH thread. Very interesting. I love seeing the photos. Actually, I just saw a Maverick Specialized Truck hauling some sort of crane-tractor (it was green and white it looked like) yesterday, Friday July 27. I think I was just getting onto the PA turnpike (I-76 WB) from the Eastern end of 376 out of Pittsburgh, around 1:00 maybe?? Chances are it probably wasn't you, but who knows? I thought I'd throw that out there in case it was. Keep the posts and pics coming- I find it very cool.
