Pilot in circleville, oh. Got a repower out of Roanoke, Va headed to archbold, oh. Tarp job looked as poopy as the bungees used on the tarp so took off the bungees to properly tarp the load. Checked the securements on the load. 121" long bundles of particleboard. Although gut strapped, only had 2 securements over the top of every stack so long story short untarped, unsecured what we had to to properly secure the load, retarped the load. Best part was when we, (student and I ) finished guess who pulls up......yep, the driver who's truck broke down. First thing he says, oh, you retarped it? Yep and secured it the way its supposed to be secured with 3 securements over product that is over 8 feet long. Looked at me like he had never heard the 8 foot rule at maverick.

    JimTheHut Thanks this.

I just averaged 60mph between 50 mi south of memphis and Wytheville WV, hauling 43k of product. TCD truck, average MPG was 7.3 due to mountains. was able to do decently up the slopes, think it may be better than the 2013 truck i was in for training. Also, 26,822 mi when i got it.
