Request was to be home by Saturday. Honored. Home since 1630 til Monday. On the deck out back with home depot's, "let's do this" music running endlessly through my mind.

Sitting all morning, day, and now evening, in Laurinburg waiting for a Pm to get finished. Apparently the FM wasn't joking when she suggested getting it done at a TA on a 10hr break.

Regardless of where it's done, 10 hour breaks are always the best time, unless you have plenty of time to burn. Downside to T/A is finding a spot to park afterwords. The Maverick yards I'm familiar with never have much of an issue concerning parking. Of course the problem there is getting enough sleep after they've used up 5 of your 10.

Can't you just Park at the TA, drop the trailer then go do the pm?

More often than not, the trailer will be due for one as well.
Actually, I've never been able to do just the tractor for a PM.
Now if your just needing a tire or something minor done just to the tractor, then yeah, you can sometimes hold a spot with the trailer.
