I figured getting in the Portal would be that. Just like on the computer. I guess what I'm asking is Do you go to the browser on the Qualcomm to get in the portal there? Whenever we have internet connection on the qualcomm @ Pilot, Flying J etc. It is a pay thing. Qualcomm will not hook to our MIFI and I'm not paying for their internet. So how can I access it? Does anyone know when it will be available on the computer, phone etc?

I could be wrong, but as far as I know, the Qualcomm can only receive wifi, it can't transmit it. So you can use the Qualcomm browser to browse the net, but you can't connect a computer to the Qualcomm via wifi, because it has no wifi transmitter, only a receiver. Or, if it has that capability, Maverick isn't unlocking it. If you want to use your own PC with the truck stop wifi you'll have to pay for it, but you can use the Pilot Points on your card to buy it and never have to pay cash.

I'm not aware of any plans for Maverick to unlock that feature if it has it, but like I said, they might in the future, who knows. The FM might have more info.

Thanks Captain but you misunderstood. Someone pm me and helped. It seems I have to wait until we get somewhere with FREE wifi to be able to get on the browser to see the portal, TA some Pilots & Flying J. Maverick has said that at some point you will be able to view the "report card" on the portal through your phone and computer. This will make it much easier then waiting to stay at a place with free wifi. We usually stay at rest areas or customers.

As far as the points go for wifi they are used for food, COFFEE, etc. I won't use them for wifi when I have my own MIFI for the computer. I didn't know if Maverick had some kind of deal with Pilot/J so we could log in to view the portal/report card. I guess they don't.

Ohhh ok I understand now, sorry about that!

Maverick is working in a deal for wifi for the Qualcomm, there are some places that already have it. You should be able to access it if the Wifi icon on the Qualcomm shows the signal instead of the little red X (it's the little icon right next to the signal bars on the upper left of the screen).

My FM recently told me that its already working in some places and Maverick is working on getting it at all Pilots and Flying Js, but its a process apparently. I do know it does work in some places, because I tried it once or twice, until a recent software update shut down my browser for some reason where it can't be clicked on. I haven't reported it since I use my iPad or laptop anyways.

The driver portal didn't show the report card last week when I checked, but I heard it was supposed to be up and running here pretty soon.

    hesgoneagain Thanks this.

was he taking them off the load so you'd have to tarp it? Just swapped with a guy Thursday am at the rock. I had got in fairly early and woke up to the thumping of him adding dunnage onto the landing gear. I did ask if his tarps were ok. He said they were. Haven't unrolled one of the lumbers but the other lumber is ok, one steel is ok, and the other steel is in need of some retacking on the patches bc whomever put them on there didn't run a seam of glue around the outside of the patch ( which is cut square btw). If the weather warms up enough to reglue during my downtime i'll be gluing away during my 10. If not, i'll swap it at a terminal for a repaired one. All of the D-rings were on all 3 so far...WOOOOO HOOOOO!!! The ratchet binders I gave up unwound if a slight breeze hit them, the ones I got?, im working on them, but didn't look as though they had ever been lubed.

I see a pattern here. Somehow the guys who don't/won't take of their trailers get swaps with guys who will. Hummm, interesting, very interesting.
And the best part (from Mavericks prospective) it cost noting. Nearly diabolical, or brilliant, I don't really know...

lol true. For the lazy arses out there that don't take care of their equipment and just pass it off to other drivers, they're probably gonna be too lazy to fill out the 2 new macros that have to be filled out when you drop/give up a trailer and pick up another. A professional drivers way of covering his arse, a lazy arses way of hanging his high

New PFP can't come soon enough. While here in NLR I checked in with my FM and found out my score card would give me .06 this quarter, that would be a $1,500 bonus! Dang it boy, can't they make it retroactive to the first of the year?
