Excellent description of the new Pay For Performance in the MMS on the Qualcom. I suggest everyone take a look at "Driver Pay Changes" and "PFP", they were the 2 new MMS messages downloaded to the Qualcom this week. Basically there are 10 categories each with a point total assigned to them that we will be scored on and our final point total will determine what if any additional cent per mile will be paid the following quarter. score 100 plus points out of 100 = .06 extra to your base cent per mile rate. score less than 75 points out of 100 plus possible points = no additional cent per mile rate. The categories we are going to be scored on are: Miles per day, Hub MPG, Idle %, Service Failures, DOT Inspections, Preventable Accident, Safety Points, Out of Route(OOR)%, Maverick Way, and Overdue PM. Some of the categories, Miles per Day, Idle %, and OOR %, your average is compared to the rest of the division. If you take the time to look at your scorecard, you can pretty much determine what if any additional cent per mile you will be getting once the system is put into place. the final fuel bonus payout will be 071913. PFP pays out on every paid mile the following quarter using the previous quarter's data. Due to the number of changes that need to be made to allow time to review Scorecard Data for the 2nd qtr of 2013, Maverick will start paying out the new PFP on the 1st paycheck of August, 080213. Who is not eligible? Charge back determined to be drivers fault exceeding $5000. Severe Customer Complaint, Severe Equipment Abuse, Any Preventable Lost Time Injury, Any SINGLE safety violation that assigns 3+ points, and any New drivers hired or starting after the beginning of a quarter. (they must have a full 1/4 of data to determine their PFP rating). Beginning in March, we will be able to see our scorecard data updated daily. As I have posted in other threads, with the info I had been given I was hoping to be in the additional 4 cent range as I was before the changes to the Fuel Bonus. After reviewing and studying the information on the MMS this week, I'll be in the 5-6 cent range and hope everyone else eligible will be as well.

I might be the master of BS. But I will say you're the master of the keyboard Sarge. I think the new bonus system will be a good thing.

What is "Maroon Marauder" under "The Maverick Way" category? Is this just someone calling maverick saying they saw truck # so and so and boy did it look pretty? If so I'm going to have my wife call every week, LOL

Ok, so how does that play into the PFP? Who initiates it?

Also, you know a Marauder is a thief right? And a Maroon is a Jamaican slave or a color.

Very interesting. Maybe I can actually get a bonus now, since the fuel bonus was always way out of reach for me. Never could get enough mileage out of this truck, no matter what I changed, to get a fuel bonus. But there are several categories there that I know I can do well in... I'm almost OCD when it comes to keeping my truck clean, and I can get a lot of miles in every day if they have them to give me (mileage has been HORRIBLE lately for some reason). It definitely gives me hope for the future :)
