I hate to re-inform you since you do not have a clue as to what your actually transporting (like most Mav drivers) Float glass inwhich you are tranporting from Guardian & PPG are cut down and made into EndCaps pacs inwhich Mav also transports are made into windshields, side windows & rear windows from everything from autos to construction equipment to buses to Boat windshields. And many large stoces that you transport to companies like Taylormade in Payne Ohio and autoquip in Batavia Ohio are made into windshields. Please make sure you know fully what your talking about before you post!!! And also do a spell-check too!!!

It looks like I have to concede defeat on part of this one. I figured that the big windshield plants would be raw materials in and finished windshields out, but from what I have found, most do have the glass delivered. When I was at a Guardian plant in Michigan, I noticed a bunch of racks of auto glass waiting for shipment, which is the first time I've spotted glass labeled for automotive use. Where I believe that you are wrong, is the effect on Maverick's business. The racks are mainly shipped in dry vans and intermodal containers, which isn't what we do.
It seems like Maverick's brass may be in agreement with you, as rumor has it that they ordered a bunch of new double-drop easy-rolls to start replacing the DGLs.
On the subject of spell checking, "inwhich" is not a word.Rigbuilder Thanks this. -
You want a cookie? You do know that you don't need to use exclamation points to get your point across, right? Here is a good one; we don't care who you drive for, what you haul or who you are. For a non-maverick driver, you sure spend a lot of time in these here threads. Me thinks someone is jealous

Keep sucking up to maverick! Bust your butt on those flat bed loads for less than minimum wage! Oh, Schnieder owns the patent on your DGL trailers and is why maverick cannot have those trailers duplicated. Hey Stupid! Many 96x130 stoces you haul is cut down to make tempered glass for school buses, motorhomes, catapillar, John Deer and many other machinerey manufacturers. So you are wrong Driver!!!

I don't drive truck anymore! I have a real 9-5 job!!! I'm home every night and make much more money than you ever will driving that piece of junk freightliner.

Maverick does ship in dry vans!!! Maverick has 4 dry vans at the Guardian plant in Carleton Michigan!!! I konw because I pulled them and they go to plants in Upper Sandusky, Ligonier and Auburn!!! These places OTR does not deliver to only dedicated drivers go there! Also End Caps are loaded on covered flat beds and dry vans and they also load "Rack-N-Roll" racks in dry vans!!! If you don't believe me Go ask Derek or Rick!!!

How about you just do your real 9 to 5 job and let them do theirs. There is obviously plenty of glass cargo out there for Maverick to haul as they keep expanding their glass fleet and if not they can always put their glass fleet to work hauling regular flatbed loads. Their freight is for them to worry about, why do you care so much?ramblingman Thanks this. -
