Does any body now for sure how long it is before they call you for orientation. Do they wait for former employers to call them back to verify work history so excited ready to go to Little Rock . Thanks

It will seem like forever but in reality a week or two maybe three. They have to contact the former employers you listed on your application and verify all the other information. You can track the progress on-line, ask your recruiter how. Once that is all completed you will then have to wait for a slot in orientation. Hang in there Mike, it will all be over before you know it.

When did you fill out an application?A trucking company is a trucking company, you'll probably hear back from them Monday. If not call the recruiter.

Other trucking companies do not have a LINE AT THEIR FRONT DOOR like Maverick does pattyj. Mike, Maverick is very thorough-from start to finish- and as you go thru this process, you come to appreciate it. There is a "method to their madness", and it works very very well. Hang in there. Impatience is one thing that will eliminate you in the orientation process. And, Seawheeler is right, a lot of times, it is the process of contacting former employers that can take the recruiters a while. You maybe could help speed up this process by contacting those former employers and notifying them that Maverick will be contacting them and ask for their speedy cooperation. Hang in there Man! It IS worth the wait.
