Just got the call today from Maverick saying im approved just waiting on a trainer. Hoping to be in next Sunday since this Sunday is full. Very excited about Maverick since I've been hearing so many good things on this site about them. Only a few questions for maverick drivers. Im going into flatbed division not glass are any trainers near Atlanta that I can team up with? How is hometime? I was told weekly, hopefully since my wife is expected off first child late February. How long is training ?Thanks in advance

I'm a glass dedicated driver for maverick out of PA.... flat beds are home every weekend and they'll try to get you a trainer as close to your house as possible no guarantees though... my trainer was in Indiana... its a good outfit good luck to you!

Hubby is flatbed RAT divison. He is home ALMOST every weekend. They try really hard but there are sometimes that they just can't get you home.

Home almost every weekend for regular flatbed divisions (US Regional and RAT Regional Atlantic). I think last time I saw the numbers RAT had just over a 92% home weekend track record for RAT drivers. That is really good! There are some times when you WILL get hung out but it is really not THAT SCARY LOL. If your wife is expecting, if you let your FM know this and keep reminding them as it draws nearer and nearer they will make sure to work with you on that.

I'm pretty sure if you live in Atlanta you will be in LNG. I think they are out 2-3 weeks. Check with your recruiter on that cause I could be mistaken.. I was hired for RAT last year and I live in NC but don't know if they will put people down south in the RAT division anymore. In the RAT division I was home all but 4 weekends in 6 months.

My recruiter told me lng. I am figuring to be out for 3 weeks at a time. Maybe once I am there for a while something will open up with better hometime
