My trainer will drop me off Wednesday or Thursday in Little Rock so I can do my final evaluations before getting my truck.
But as much as I have learned about Maverick, I really have no clue what the evaluations involve other than testing and a stint on the driving simulator

CONGRATULATIONS! Do you know what you'll be hauling ie flatbed, dry van, or reefer? What are their tractors like new, like new, or old junkers?

    I am long haul flatbed.
They have good equipment. It is well maintained, tractors are 3 years old or newer

    Swamprat55 Thanks this.

As for eval, It's more of the same. Slide shows. Videos. Tests. Presentations. Nothing crazy.
Oh, and all open book/open note as always, so bring your notes and atlas from before.

There is a specialized division, but from what I understand, it's very small and limited to somewhere in the Illinois-Iowa area. They might haul tractors or some such. Don't quote me on any of that.

80% tarp sounds about right. I'm quite envious of the roll-back-curtainside whatever's that some guys use. They're out and gone while I'm fighting a gargantuan rectangular lumber tarp onto a 47k single coil.
